One of the most controversial Vitamins. B17 is purported to have cancer-controlling and preventative properties. A lack of Vitamin B17 could diminish your resistance to cancer.

What it can do for you

There is presently no set Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA). Vitamin B17 is chemically a compound of two sugar compounds: benzaldehyde and cyanide called an amygdalin. Known as nitrilosides when used in medical doses.
Toxicity and Deficiency: No established toxicity level yet, but taking excessive amounts of laetrile could be dangerous. Deficiency may lead to diminished resistance to cancer.
Best Natural Food Sources: A small amount of Biotin is found in the kernels of apricots, apples, cherries, peaches, plums and nectarines
